About the Project
Digital Minds of the Future was an Erasmus+ Training Course that brought together 26 youth workers from 11 European countries in Mezőberény, Hungary, with the aim of strengthening digital competences and promoting innovative approaches to youth work in the digital era.
ASCU participated as a partner organization in this international initiative, contributing to the implementation of a project that encouraged cooperation, intercultural exchange, and the sharing of good practices among youth organizations across Europe. Throughout the eight-day programme, participants explored how digital technologies can enrich non-formal education and support more engaging, inclusive, and accessible learning experiences for young people.
The training combined practical workshops, collaborative challenges, reflection activities, and hands-on learning experiences. Participants experimented with digital content creation, artificial intelligence, virtual collaboration platforms, blended learning models, and innovative facilitation methods while exchanging experiences and developing new educational approaches that can be applied in youth work.

The training course was designed to strengthen the capacity of youth organizations and youth workers to respond to the opportunities and challenges of digital transformation by integrating modern technologies into non-formal education.
The project focused on three main objectives:
Digital Competence Development: To strengthen digital competences through practical experience with innovative digital tools, multimedia content creation, and online and blended learning methods applicable in youth work.
Innovative Educational Approaches: To improve the quality of non-formal education by introducing creative pedagogical methods that combine digital technologies, virtual collaboration, and experiential learning to increase young people's engagement.
Inclusive Digital Youth Work: To promote inclusive digital practices that encourage equal participation and accessibility for all young people, including those with fewer opportunities, through innovative digital learning environments.

Results of the Project
The Digital Minds of the Future training course generated valuable outcomes for both participants and partner organizations. Throughout the programme, participants developed practical competences in digital facilitation, AI-supported educational design, multimedia production, online collaboration, and the use of innovative digital tools that can be integrated into youth work activities.
The project also strengthened cooperation between partner organizations, creating opportunities for exchanging expertise, developing new educational methodologies, and establishing long-term international partnerships. The resources, learning methods, and practical tools explored during the training will continue to support the development of high-quality youth work and future Erasmus+ initiatives.
For ASCU, participating as a project partner reinforced its commitment to promoting innovation in youth work and supporting the professional development of those involved in non-formal education. The experience contributed to expanding the organization's international cooperation network and provided new ideas and methodologies that will be further disseminated and integrated into future local and international activities.
