About the Project

Cool Facilitators was an Erasmus+ Training Course that brought together 20 youth workers, facilitators, and volunteers from the ASEY Network in Mezőberény, Hungary. The project was coordinated and organized by the Young Europe Society and hosted by the Hungarian partner Legáramlat, creating an international learning environment focused on exploring how Artificial Intelligence and digital tools can enhance the quality of non-formal education while preserving the value of meaningful face-to-face interaction.

ASCU participated as a partner organization in this international initiative, contributing to a collaborative learning process that encouraged the exchange of experiences, innovative facilitation methods, and good practices among youth organizations from different European countries. Throughout the eight-day programme, participants strengthened their digital and facilitation competences while exploring practical ways to integrate AI into youth work.

The training combined practical workshops, simulations, peer-learning sessions, collaborative design activities, and reflection exercises. Participants experimented with AI-powered educational tools, discussed the ethical use of emerging technologies, and developed blended learning approaches that combine digital innovation with participatory non-formal education methods, creating practical resources that can be applied in future Erasmus+ projects and local youth activities.
