DigiTEACH is an introductory course in Digital Transformation and Digital Teaching as applied in formal educational settings. The course aims to equip teachers with a core understanding of the concepts of digital transformation and the core digital skills needed in order to perform as educators in today’s contexts. Together with the presentation of the state of the art concepts regarding e-learning, the course will introduce good practice examples and will entail a hands-on methodology which involves concrete work on own contexts, digital audit of the educational institution, creation of learning plans and activity plans and intercultural interaction among educational institutions and educators.
Learning Objectives:
· Achieve a comprehensive understanding of digital transformation processes in the educational sector;
· Develop core digital competences for teaching and evaluation of learning;
· Applying digital education skills in mock-up settings;
· Creating lesson plans and extra-curricular activity plans including digital learning tools;
· Understanding and Analysing the potential risks that digitalisation entails in own learning communities and identifying mitigation strategies;
· Creating own development plans and possible project ideas for the schools;
